Ecological Footprint

It would take 4.2 Earths and 18.5 global acres to provide resources to support my life style. I see a footprint in two different ways. One way is like leaving a mark somewhere on the Earth. Also making some kind of impact to or on Earth. Those are the two ways I see a footprint. If everyone on this planet would reduce their ecological footprint, then our Earth will "live" for longer than we expect it to. One way I could reduce my ecological footprint would be to eat lest processed food and buy more of my food from local food markets. Also, maybe I could make a road trip to go see my family instead of flying there. It would probably be better for me since I'm terrified of traveling on planes.

  1. I definitely agree with the statement you made about the Earth being able to "live" longer if people reduced their footprint. On another note, I love flying. Is there a certain reason why you don't like it?

  2. So far I think you have the lowest ecological footprint ha. I agree with you that our ecological footprint are like us leaving a mark on the Earth, whether it is good or bad.

  3. I like how you put down two ways that you see ecological footprint, I agree with them both, like it's how you leave your mark on the Earth, because some people are environmental friendly and some aren't.

  4. Every time I've been on a plane something always goes wrong and I've always been terrified to fly. I'm just like my mom with flying.

  5. Wow Andrea it took me 3.8 earths to live my life style! and I thought that was a lot. But I totally agree with you on people changing their life style. I realized though that things I found important in my life where the things that should definatley be least important in my life.
